INTRODUCTION FROM THE BISHOP OF READING

"It is the purpose of the Oxford diocese to create a caring, sustainable and growing Christian presence in every part of the three counties we serve. In the Reading Episcopal area we are particularly concerned with developing fresh expressions of Christian community that can communicate the Christian gospel into the networks of our society. In Wokingham two churches from the catholic tradition are coming together to see how energy and creativity can be released to make this vision a reality.  This will involve working alongside the church as it is, but also being set free to work for what could be. These two posts represent one of the most exciting initiatives in the diocese at the moment, and we are looking for two people who can work together with two growing churches with a vision for the whole of Wokingham. We are looking for people with a sense of adventure who love the tradition of the church so much that they long to give it fresh expression."
